From Shopping to $15,000 Worth of Impact: Beauty Holiday at Veronica Beard for Cancer Alliance Network
There is something rejuvenating about gathering with people who are moved by the same purpose. Friendships blossom, connections deepen, and community becomes something you can truly feel. Surrounding yourself with people who fuel your mind and soul is the true meaning of support.
A beautiful fall collection. A favorite beauty product. A handwritten note. A room full of women, friends, local businesses and community partners coming together for something bigger than themselves.
This week, we experienced purpose come to life at Veronica Beard at Waterside Shops in Naples, where Beauty Holiday gathered with The Scout Guide Naples, a curated lifestyle publication and online directory dedicated to highlighting local small businesses, independent makers, and entrepreneurs in Naples and Marco Island, Florida, The House of Blondes, a Naples hair salon specializing in custom hair coloring and expert hair extensions, Sister Seekers, a new US-based nonprofit organization that aims to make donating to start-up charities in need easier, and Cancer Alliance Network, a community focused on the impact of cancer and their families in Southwest Florida by providing timely assistance to ease the financial strain and emotional stress of cancer for a special Shop with Purpose event supporting women in our community who are battling cancer.
It was more than an afternoon of shopping.
It was an eye opening experience of what can happen when a community takes initiative as a whole to show up.
$15,000 Worth of Beauty, Given With Direct Purpose
Together, our community packed more than $15,000 worth of beauty and self-care products to curate special gifts for women supported by Cancer Alliance Network.
The product lineup was just as beautiful as the purpose behind it, featuring beloved beauty and wellness brands including Kérastase, Maëlys, Chantecaille, Avène, Kusshi Bags, Jess & Parker, Happy Notes and Peter Thomas Roth.
But the products were only a line of a story full of chapters.
At Beauty Holiday, we believe a beautiful gift can carry a much deeper meaning, a tangiable memory. It can become a moment of comfort during an incredibly difficult season. It can be a reminder that someone is thinking of you. It can offer a little hope when you need it most.
That is why every gift was made pers.
Alongside the beauty and self-care products, our community had the opportunity to write handwritten notes filled with encouragement, strength, love and support for the women who would receive them.
Because sometimes, the words we choose to share can mean just as much as the gift itself.
A Reminder That She Is Not Alone
A cancer diagnosis can bring so much uncertainty, exhaustion and emotions that are hard to put into words. In moments like these, there is so much strength in simply continuing to show up, getting out of bed and choosing to keep going each day. Over time, those little moments of strength begin to add up, creating a light that can shine through even the darkest clouds. What is so beautiful is realizing just how much these small gestures of support can mean to women and families facing cancer.
A thoughtful gift, a moment of connection or simply knowing that someone is cheering you on can reignite a little spark—the reminder that you are not walking through this alone. There is a whole community behind you, offering love, encouragement and support, praying for you, rooting for you and believing in you every step of the way.
A Guilt Free Shopping Spree for a Higher Cause
The event was also a lovely example of what it means to shop with purpose.
Guests came to Veronica Beard at Waterside Shops to experience the gorgeous new fall collection, connect with friends and enjoy an afternoon together. But woven throughout the experience was the opportunity to make an impact simply by showing up.
Veronica Beard donated 20% of the day's sales back to Beauty Holiday, helping support our mission of turning beauty into comfort, dignity and hope for women and families facing hardship.
We are incredibly grateful for brands that believe giving back can be part of the way we shop and for local businesses that are willing to open their doors and create space for meaningful community impact.
Because giving does not always have to look like a traditional donation.
Sometimes, it looks like shopping for something you love and knowing that your purchase is helping someone else. The best part there isn’t a rule book on giving, Sometimes, it looks like writing a note, catching up with an old friend, or finally showing up after all that has happened.
The Powerful Presence of Community Give back
What made this afternoon especially meaningful was the community behind it.
Beauty Holiday was honored to gather alongside Veronica Beard, Waterside Shops, The Scout Guide Naples, The House of Blondes, Sister Seekers and Cancer Alliance Network, each bringing their own community, passion and purpose to the experience.
The Scout Guide Naples continues to champion the local businesses, people and experiences that make Naples special. The House of Blondes brought its connection to beauty and the local community. Sister Seekers supports carefully chosen nonprofit organizations and helps create opportunities for them to grow and reach more people. And Cancer Alliance Network provides resources, support and non-medical financial assistance to individuals and families facing cancer across Southwest Florida.
When organizations with different strengths come together around the same heart, the impact becomes so much greater.
That is what community looks like. It is all hands on deck. It is holding out a hand to someone whose arms may be tired from extending theirs. It’s about brigding that community gap and recognizing that none of us has to do everything alone.
More Than $15,000 in Beauty. So Much More in Meaning.
The numbers from this event tell part of the story.
More than $15,000 in beauty and self-care products.
At the heart of this effort was $15,000 worth of beauty products, generously donated to bring a little extra comfort, joy and self-care to women and families navigating difficult moments. What may look like beauty products on their own becomes something so much more meaningful when given with purpose.
Each product carries a reminder that someone is thinking of you, cheering you on and wanting to bring a little light into your day. It is a beautiful example of how beauty can give back, creating moments of connection, hope and care when they are needed most.
Beauty That Creates a Story
The heart of Beauty Holiday has always been about taking something beautiful and giving it a bigger purpose. We believe in Purge with Purpose, we believe in Shop with Purpose, and most importantly, we believe in giving with purpose. Our event at Veronica Beard at Waterside Shops was another beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with intention. What started as a shopping afternoon became an opportunity to give, beauty products became gifts of comfort, handwritten notes became messages of hope, and a room full of people became a community reminding women facing cancer that they are seen, supported and never alone.
We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this day possible—from our Impact Partners and participating brands to the Veronica Beard team, the women who came to shop, the friends who helped spread the word and everyone who contributed a little piece of their heart. Because when we give together, something beautiful happens.
Beauty becomes purpose, purpose becomes impact, and impact becomes a reminder that no one has to walk through a difficult season alone. This is the real magic of Beauty Holiday, that feeling that never gets old.
