Beauty Holiday Brings Joy and Empowerment to the PACE Center for Girls
There are some moments that remind us exactly why Beauty Holiday exists—and this was one of them. Bringing our self-care magic to PACE Center for Girls was more than an event; it was a beautiful exchange of joy, confidence, and connection. From the moment these teenage girls stepped into our wellness gifting suite, they lit up with excitement. They browsed tables filled with beauty and wellness products from brands like MAC, BareMinerals, SKIMS, and Fabletics, enjoying personalized shade and style matching to find the perfect products, just for them. It was a chance for our team to interact one-on-one with our beneficiaries, hearing their stories, and solidifying our impact, reminding them first-hand that they are seen, celebrated, and so deeply loved.

What is the PACE Center for Girls?
The PACE Center for Girls is a nationally recognized nonprofit, and research-based model, that provides education, counseling, and advocacy for middle and high school-aged girls who have faced significant life challenges. With a trauma-informed, strength-based approach, PACE creates a safe and supportive environment where young women can heal, grow, and thrive. Many of the girls at PACE come from underserved backgrounds or have experienced instability in their lives—but within the walls of this organization, they are seen, heard, and empowered to dream again.
“The girls that come to Pace have 3 or more risk factors. This means they come to Pace with some sort of trauma and issues that for some, have not been addressed. Our counselors and therapists help the girls to cope, work through, and believe in a future, while they work on their academics (we serve 6th grade to 12th grade girls),” explained Marianne Kearns, Executive Director at PACE.
Creating a Glam Beauty Bar Experience
Our Beauty Holiday event was coordinated with that same intention. We wanted every girl at PACE to feel celebrated, valued, and loved. We transformed part of their gymnasium into a pop-up Beauty Holiday beauty bar, complete with hundreds of products from swoon-worthy brands like MAC, BareMinerals, Tarte, and itCosmetics. We even had a bonus fashion rack stocked with cozy athleisure from SIMS and Fabletics.
Our Beauty Holiday team helped guide the girls through the gifting suite, including personalized shade matching to find the complexion products that were best for their skintone, and style-matching to find a cozy new piece of clothing to round out the ultimate self-care gifting. The morning was full of smiles, laughter, and a tangible sense of joy as these girls were pampered and celebrated with endless surprises from Beauty Holiday.
More Than Makeup: Building Confidence and Connection
The beauty of this special day, spanned far beyond the products. It was a beautiful reminder that these girls are surrounded by a community that believes in them. “The exposure to experiences that aren’t common are priceless,” shared Kearns. “Most of our girls don’t leave Immokalee often, so exposure to people, places, ideas, women in business, various career paths and connections are what I love for the girls that attend Pace,” she added.
Each young woman left Beauty Holiday with a curated gift bag of self-care essentials that continue to serve as a reminder that they matter and deserve to be celebrated. For many of them, this was their first experience being pampered in such a way, and it served as a powerful affirmation of their worth.
“The simplicity of being addressed is like the planting of a seed. All things grow from seeds!” shared Kearns.
The Deeper Impact of Self-Care
As our team watched these incredible girls light up with pride and self-expression, we were reminded that sometimes the smallest gestures can leave the deepest impact. A swipe of lip gloss. A kind word. A gift bag that says, “You are not forgotten.”
This day also reinforced our belief in the healing power of self-care. Especially for those who have been through hardship, self-care can be a radical act of reclaiming joy and confidence. We are grateful for their generous support by our Beauty Holiday volunteers and brand partners for making this event so meaningful.
Beauty Holiday exists to remind people that they are seen and loved, even in life’s hardest seasons. Our event at PACE Center for Girls was a shining example of how a day of giving can spark lasting hope.
