How Beauty Holiday Teams up with A Beautiful Idea to Support Caretakers at St. Jude’s
Some partnerships simply feel meant to be. That’s precisely what happened when Beauty Holiday connected with the inspiring young women behind A Beautiful Idea, a student-led initiative that shared in the belief in delivering moments of comfort and self-care to uplift caretakers.
After connecting with the bright young students, Maddie Stansbury and Carly Ogden, and supermom Tamara Daly Ogen, it became clear that we shared something special: a belief that while patients deserve every ounce of love and support, the caregivers quietly carrying so much deserve to feel seen, cared for, and remembered, too.
That shared purpose sparked a collaboration that would bring the Beauty Holiday mission to one of the most extraordinary places in the world—St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Maddie Stansbury and Carly Ogden attended the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital event to provide these purposeful self-care packages to women and families, creating a meaningful moment of comfort, care, and connection.
Meet A Beautiful Idea
Founded by this inspiring group of high school students, A Beautiful Idea was born from a simple yet powerful realization: while families relocate for weeks or even months to care for a child receiving life-saving treatment, the parents, siblings, spouses, and loved ones standing beside them often put their own needs aside.
This student-led initiative exists to change that by delivering meaningful moments of comfort for caregivers navigating incredibly difficult seasons. Their mission beautifully mirrors Beauty Holiday's belief in the power of self-care to uplift those navigating life hardship. It's a reminder that every person deserves dignity, comfort, and compassion, especially during life's hardest moments.
Bringing the Beauty Holiday Mission to Memphis
For this special initiative, Beauty Holiday curated and supplied the products and packing materials needed to create these special self-care gifts, while the young women of A Beautiful Idea became our “boots on the ground” hands and heart to bring this initiative to life. This Beauty Holiday magic was made possible through the generosity of our charitable impact partner, The Benchmarking Company, and the unwavering support of co-founders Jen Stansbury and Denise Herich, who continue to stand behind our mission in the most beautiful way.
Upon landing in Memphis, the incredible young women of A Beautiful Idea transformed their hotel room into a Beauty Holiday packing party. Surrounded by hundreds of beauty products, ribbons, tissue paper, and gift bags, they carefully assembled more than 30 self-care gifts—each one created with intention, compassion, and love to uplift a caretaker at St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
Their colorful hotel room was lined with generous product donations from editor favorite brands including comforting skincare from CeraVe and Evereden, vibrant color cosmetics from Maybelline, Urban Decay, and Sephora, and thoughtful essentials from KUSSHI, Shampoo Hotel, and Happy Notes. Every product represented more than just a donation—it represented a message of support, encouragement, and hope for families at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Furthermore, every gift was accompanied by a heartfelt handwritten note of love and support to provide a simple- yet powerful- reminder to the recipient that she was seen, appreciated, and never alone.
Once every bag was complete, the students personally delivered the gifts to St. Jude, where they were distributed to the mothers and caregivers faithfully standing beside their children through long-term treatment at St. Jude’s.

It’s a gentle reminder to fill up your own cup, even when navigating life’s toughest moments. And our hope is that a dose of self-care and beauty products gives them the excuse to do exactly that!
