A Day of Beauty, Belonging, and Big-League Heart
This summer we had the honor of joining the Atlanta Braves Foundation, the incredible Braves Wives, and Georgia Kids Belong to celebrate young foster women across Atlanta, Georgia, with an incredibly special experience full of surprises and pampering to remind them of the support that surrounds them.
These special partnerships are deeply meaningful, allowing Beauty Holiday to expand our impact and create truly memorable experiences to uplift young women navigating life hardships. This intentional and special moment at the Atlanta Braves Foundation, a nonprofit arm of the Atlanta Braves that actively supports community organizations and programs throughout the metro Atlanta area, was made possible thanks to the heart and hands of Amber Mae Bummer, Maggie Whitener Strider, and Samishealthysweets. Their collaboration beautifully demonstrated the power of community and the importance of creating moments where young women feel seen, celebrated, and inspired. A sentiment that resonates deeply with the Beauty Holiday mission and made for a seamless partnership to further support their work.

Beauty Holiday & Braves Wives: A Beautiful Self-Care Surprise for Georgia Kids Belong
For this special initiative, the Atlanta Braves Foundation teamed up with Georgia Kids Belong, a nonprofit organization focused on improving both the experience and outcomes for children in foster care, to create a special afternoon at the ballpark to shower these young women with the love and support they deserve.
With the support of our incredible partners, the Braves wives hosted a beautiful afternoon of surprises for a group of resilient young women currently navigating the foster care system. The day was filled with pampering, gifting, and connection, to empower and inspire these young women in their life, careers, and beyond.
Knowing that these young women are navigating some of life’s most challenging moments, we aimed to create a memorable experience they could carry with them. It was a day filled with joy, encouragement, and memories they could hold close to their hearts, and one that would continue to remind them of the love and support of their community cheering them on.
And the smiles on their faces said it all. These young women were treated to a gifting haul of fashion, travel, and beauty favorites to stock them up for the chapter ahead. Watching them walk through this special gifting experience, feeling the love of their community, and the inspiration to keep their head high as they navigate the next chapter of life, reminded us why these moments are so deeply meaningful. The true beauty in this moment was the opportunity to remind each young woman that she is seen, valued, and celebrated, by her community.
Support That Made a Difference
With more than 200 of the most sought-after beauty essentials, like Braves wives’ favorites from Urban Decay and Maybelline, and editor-favorites from CeraVe, Saie, and Milk Makeup, the support from the beauty industry was nothing short of beautiful. Dozens of brands generously donated and the Beauty Holiday team thoughtfully curated 16 personalized self-care packages for these young women, each package filled to the brim with nearly $300 worth of beauty magic.
Every self-care kit was more than a collection of beauty products. It was a small reminder that they are worthy of care, deserving of joy, and never alone in their journey.
Beauty Holiday, the Braves Foundation, and the Braves wives, will forever be rooting for Georgia Kids Belong, and look forward to continue serving these aspiring young women through their journey of life.
